SHEPHERDSTOWN — As a part of the vacations, members of the Shepherdstown Pack Horse Ford Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution met to stuff 90 handmade Christmas stockings for veterans at the Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center on December four.

Chapter members who participated have been Diane Steece, Cheryl Brown, Darla Ambrose, Marie Snowden, Marianne Caruso, Barbara Nickell and Lois Kimble. The stockings have been crammed with small presents for veterans together with pocket dictionaries, 2018 calendars, observe pads and pens, enjoying playing cards, puzzle books, white socks, sweet and luxury gadgets.
